Kingsley Theatre:
In January 2008 Kingsley Players created a proper theatre at the Community
Centre. As many of you are aware we were fortunate to obtain partial
funding under the Rural Recovery Fund to purchase a new stage and raised
seating system from leading stage manufacturers Mainstage of Lancaster.
Because our last two productions had unusual auditoriums our Pantomime
is was the first opportunity we had to show the system in its full glory.
We had our new stage complete with stage curtains and a full proscenium
arch stage front, together with staggered raised seating throughout
the auditorium which improves visibility from all seats. This coupled
with our lighting rig and sound system ranks as one of the best village
hall systems anywhere.
Next Production
Oh What A Lovely War
A satirical musical play about the First World War.
Production dates, 20th -23rd October 2010
Auditions
If you would like to be part of the next production, please come along to the auditions on Sunday 20th June, 7pm, at Kingsley
Community Centre.
There are lots of parts - large and small.
All adults and teenagers welcome.
DVDs
There are DVDs available of many of our productions, for £1 each,
